  • Microwaves
  • Water heaters

Not sure about something? Read what we take and what we can't, or just ask when you call.

Refrigeration & heavy-item fees

Appliances are covered by your load price. Some heavier items carry an additional fee on top of it.

Large refrigeration systems+$50
Small refrigeration systems+$30

These are add-ons, not total removal prices. The fee applies on top of the load price for the space your items take up. Your total is confirmed before work starts — see our pricing page for load rates and the full fee list.

Access and preparation

Tell us where it is

Basement, upstairs, garage or curbside. Stairs, narrow doorways and long carries all affect how the job is done.

Clear the path

Move what you can out of the way so we have a safe route to the appliance. Leave the heavy lifting to us.

Empty it first

Remove food and loose items before pickup. We don't take food waste as part of appliance removal.

Know what stays

Point out anything that isn't leaving — especially if it sits beside the appliance or shares a hookup.

Arrange safe disconnection before pickup

Appliances must be disconnected and made ready for removal before we arrive. Disconnecting plumbing, electrical or gas is not part of this service — have a qualified professional handle it.

  • Gas appliances: arrange disconnection with a qualified gas fitter before pickup.
  • Hardwired or electric appliances: have a qualified electrician disconnect power.
  • Plumbed appliances such as washers and water heaters: arrange plumbing disconnection separately.

If you're unsure what your appliance needs, ask when you call and we'll tell you what to arrange.
